Race to Achieve at the 2010 Waddell & Reed Kansas City Marathon

On October 16th Gordon Parks staff and friends will participate in the Kansas City Marathon to raise awareness about the school and help reach the fundraising goal for the year. We will be on a Race to Achieve with a goal of raising $5,000 to support Gordon Park Elementary's small class sizes, integrated arts program, and intensive support services.
Are you a runner or walker who would like to be a part of Team Gordon Parks? There are several races on October 16th that you can participate in:
- Full Marathon
- Half Marathon
- 5K
- Marathon Relay (6.5 miles per person)
- Kids' Marathon
